Today I think pictures are beautiful. I think my love of taking pictures is probably a little bit obvious, but I am no professional. I don’t understand all the different components that go into taking a good picture. I just think the fact that everyone takes pictures of everything is beautiful.
So many people think that teenagers carrying around their phones is the end of the world, and maybe it is, but it is also pretty awesome. My generation takes pictures of everything. It’s not just about documentation, although that is an added bonus. It is the idea that everything is worth seeing. Everything is worth preserving. We take pictures of things we find beautiful. Things that are interesting. Things we want to show people.
Isn’t it beautiful thay pictures can capture all of those beautiful, interesting things? Isn’t it beautiful that the can capture them and then preserve emotions in them for years and years? I think is is. I think it is beautiful that we keep our memories locked up in pictures so that they don’t even have a chance to fade from our minds. I just think humans taking pictures of beautiful, interesting things are pretty amazing.
